>>> NAV2 Highlight
Since the establishment of our company, five elements have been at the core of our business and success: Precision, Coverage, POIs, Attributes, Formats and Updates. Together, they are our strength.
NAV2 map is the premier digital in China because it is built on the roads. NAV2 field analysts travel along the roads of whole China to mapping the roads and POIs. And these teams keep on driving every day to validate and update our map data continually, so that our map better reflects reality at each turn-by-turn direction on your way.
NAV2 combines NAVTEQ’ and NavInfo’s experiences to offer its comprehensive digital map in China: we cover hundreds of cities in Mainland China, with connector roads and detailed city coverage, in simplified Chinese and Pinyin. We also provide coverage for Hong Kong and Taiwan, in traditional Chinese and English; and Macau, in traditional Chinese and Portuguese
NAV2’s database contains thousands of Points of Interest (POIs). By using NAV2’s map data, you can easily find the ideal route to the nearest bank, restaurant hotel, hospital, police station, post office, medical center and much more.
To be consistent with NAVTEQ’s worldwide specifications and quality, with deviations and additions specific to China, NAV2 offers you multiple enhanced attributes, necessary to your navigation, such as:
|
Through Traffic, enabling an efficient route planning,
Z-level, enabling a better map display,
IMI Coding, enabling a dynamic route guidance,
And also: Speed limit, Gate, Special Explication, Bridge, Frontage Road, Special Traffic Figures, etc.
|
 |
As a result of NAVTEQ’s and NavInfo’s technical transfer, NAV2 provides a wide range of industry standard formats to meet your needs.
Currently, our formats include: RDF, GDF, SIF+, NAVSTREETS, MIF, Shape, etc.
